S&S Cycle announces CNC porting for Harley-Davidson Sportster models. Sportster riders like to go fast, and that’s a fact. Our tests have achieved over 95 horsepower from a 1200cc engine with CNC ported heads. That’s going to be fast.
       The new S&S CNC porting service for 2004-’14 Sportster models is similar to the program for big twins. Send in your heads and we’ll give them the S&S CNC treatment for less than you’d pay for a comparable set of new performance heads. You get your same heads back with new premium valves, bronze guides, and high lift valve springs. You also have the option of buying a set of CNC ported 1200cc heads outright.

      The program for Sportster models is a little different from the big twins because the heads for 883cc engines and 1200cc engines are not the same. A set of CNC ported 883cc heads must be used on a 1200cc or 1250cc engine with high performance pistons with larger valve reliefs. CNC ported 1200cc heads are compatible with stock 1200cc pistons, but work great on 1250cc engines as well.
