Who now does not recognize the BMW, a brand for auto supercar that are synonymous with luxury and high-class automotive enthusiasts. Here is a glimpse of the history of BMW. BMW: Bayerische Motoren Werke AG or in English stands for Bavarian Motor Works, which earlier was originally a term for a company whose activities do aircraft engineering. Base located in Munich and the company is run under the leadership of Franz Josef Popp since 1918. In the development of the 1920s they began producing motorcycles.

The first car made by BMW is a form of 3/15 produced since 1927. Then from year to year production model developed by producing trending and shape up in 2002 first produced the first car type turbo 3.0 CSL. This type of car called the BMW's first supercar made in conjunction with Lamborghini.

At the end of the 1990s, BMW bought Rover. The goal is to enter the segment of the fan type sedan, though not so successful. Then took over Land Rover and Rolls-Royce named, after an exhausting struggle for naming rights with Volkswagen.
Several series have been produced since the 1970s, the series 3, 5, 6, and 7. Then since 2000, under the control of Chris Bangle as head of design, the whole range of production styles change strategies with a radical direction. Since it also bore the name BMW increasingly popular for the luxury car class, the class-leading popular Z4 roadsters and 5-Series. Does not stop there, even the BMW M5 type generally and in particular the M6 is now recognized as the best supercar in the world. Products that deliver the BMW to the top of the current success of which is a variant of the Alpina tuning arm of BMW, and BMW X3 and X5 models off road type.
